How To Maintain Disability Rights For Your Children During Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Health officials have stated that people with compromised immune systems are more susceptible to Coronavirus (COVID-19).  Emerging evidence is also suggesting that those who are disabled are also more susceptible to COVID-19.  As a result of the recent pandemic, several organizations have collaborated an effort to help monitor disability rights.

If you are an adult or parent of the disabled child and want to submit information to monitor disability rights, you can fill out this form.  The form is a survey that helps submit critical information which will help determine if disabled persons are being treated fairly, have healthcare access and other services deemed “essential.”

If a disabled person or child has certain issues during this pandemic, whether it’s regarding their health, their safety at home or safety with parents / guardians, this information can be submitted in the form as well.

If you are currently married and are experiencing some major issues with your spouse regarding your disabled child, you can try some of these suggestions.  If you and / or your child is in imminent danger, please contact the proper authorities.  If you would like to seek a family law attorney or if you want a family law attorney to do this on your behalf, please do not hesitate to contact Fernandez, Socci, & Nieves Family Law.
